Every February, the model horse community comes together in a community building exercise called NaMoPaiMo (National Model horse Writing Month). Modeled after the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), it’s a chance to have fun painting a model horse, no matter what your skill level. Often artists will use it to try new techniques…or just have fun without the stress of a commission.
My primary model this year is going to be a Pegasus. Because I have a tendency to paint fantasy animals.
He will be painted to bay with red-shouldered hawk marking on his wings.
